Advocacy and Accompaniment Successes
CAFTA Congressional Newsletters – CAFTA Congressional Newsletters were
alternative news bulletins compiled, translated, and distributed to key Congressional
offices by NISGUA on behalf of the CAFTA Coalition to coincide with the CAFTA
2003 negotiating rounds in Central America and the United States. These bulletins
ensured that Representatives, Senators, and their staffers heard the concerns
and outrage of those in Central America and the U.S. opposed to CAFTA.
